Aaron Anderson
Aaron knows how to read a graph. As an analytics intern for Intouch Solutions, he tracked everything from websites to mobile apps, discovering trends and uncovering patterns. But then, Aaron has always been good at finding hidden gems, even going so far as to partner up with a semipro baseball team to create video highlight reels of their games.
Sports are a common theme in Aaron’s life. The oldest of five, Aaron and his siblings are always getting a game together. And when a real adrenaline boost is the order of the day, they all get together for something a bit different (like jumping out of a plane 10,000 feet above the earth).
When Aaron was accepted to Mizzou, he became a student assistant for MU linebackers’ coach Dave Steckel and began setting up drills for the team and leading tours around the Mizzou Athletic Training Complex. Aaron’s over eagerness to learn earned him the nickname “Shadow,” alluding to his tendency to follow the coach around wherever he went. Although Aaron has since stepped out of his “Shadow” role, he still considers catching every home Tiger football game an “absolute must.”
While sports are definitely a big part of Aaron’s life, they’re not his only passion. He’s an avid fan of stories, both when it comes to hearing and telling them. Whether visual, audible or written (he did all three as strategic communication director for HobNob O’Fallon), Aaron hopes to turn storytelling into a career by becoming an author like C.S. Lewis (his favorite), or through advertising the stories of both people and businesses.
