Account Executive

Leads the team. Organizes and manages all aspects of the team’s work, including time management and schedules. Responsible for knowing the client’s business and keeping the team informed. Represents the client’s business needs to the team and balances those needs with a strong passion for great advertising and communications. Partners with the account planner to write the creative brief. Reports to: Director of Account Management and Account Planning.

Account Planner

Voice of the consumer in all agency work, especially media and creative. Becomes the expert on the target audience. With researcher, leads the team on the YAYA research report. Leads qualitative research (focus groups/in-depth interviews). Works with the AE to write the creative brief. Reports to Director of Account Management and Account Planning.

Researcher

Responsible for all primary quantitative research and secondary research analysis. Fields quantitative studies and interprets findings. Works closely with the Account Planner on qualitative research, but Planner takes the lead. Works with planner to interpret the findings. Reports to Director of Media and Research.

Public Relations AE

The PR AE’s serve a dual role – as a PR team and as members of a MOJO Ad team. They are responsible for generating media coverage and sponsorships/promotion ideas as part of their team plan. Also leads specific general events/programs, as a PR team for MOJO Agency (Career Fair, agency self promotion and long range Mojo Ad PR plan. Reports to Director of Account Management.

Media Planner

Responsible for smart media planning – which is critical in today’s fragmented and changing media world. Takes an integrated approach using all forms of media – paid and unpaid, traditional and digital. Develops media objectives and strategies, analyzes media outlets and costs to develop media plan recommendations, including return on client investment. Partners with the creative team in the development of media ideas, recognizing the strong connection between creative and media in today’s advertising environment. Reports to Director of Media and Research.

Copywriter/Art Director

The copy writer and art director work as a creative team to create compelling creative concepts. While the art director is responsible for the visual look of the ads and the copy writer is responsible for the words – a good team works seamlessly to come up with ideas, before they move to execution. The best creative people can work across both areas, but find their strength in one are or the other. The creative team also plays an important role in the development of a creative brief (strategy) that underpins all good creative work – and partners with the AE and Account Planner at the appropriate time to do so. Report to Agency Director/Creative Director

Interactive Specialist

The Interactive Specialist is responsible for the MOJO Ad website and social media strategy and serves on a MOJO Ad team. Also responsible for all technology related to agency presentations and will assist the presenter in setting up room and using equipment. Reports to the Director of Technology.

Essential Skills
Knowledge of new media – early adapter of new technology
Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver, CS4 Photoshop/Indesign, HTML
Knowledge of Adobe Flash, Final Cut Pro/iMovie is a bonus

Copy Editor

The copy editor is responsible for accuracy in all agency work – that includes spelling, grammar, phone numbers and addresses, trademark usage, etc. If changes are needed, the copy editor must make sure the changes are made and made correctly. The Mojo Ad copy editor is responsible for making sure all external documents are correct and nothing leaves the agency with errors in it. The Copy Editor also serves as a member of a Mojo Ad team and is expected to contribute to the team’s work and success. Reports to Agency Director/Creative Director

Essential Skills
Understands the big picture of what the team is trying to accomplish; able to help with flow of all documents to meet those objectives
Excellent grammar and spelling
Attention to detail
Strong proof reader

Experience as a proof reader or on a copy desk a plus

Assistant Operations Manager

Responsible for managing all meeting logistics related to client projects. That includes reserving rooms, arranging for refreshments, making sure the right equipment is in the room, obtaining parking passes, etc. Anything it takes for a successful client meeting. The Client Services manager is also responsible for collecting and maintaining the newly developed time reporting system. The Assistant Client Services manager will prepare summary reports that indicate where time is being spent per client and will develop a data base from time reporting information that can be used in the future to project staffing and billing needs. Will also assist PR team in planning and logistics of MOJO Ad PR and events.

Traffic Manager

The Traffic Manager facilitates the work flow in the agency. Responsibilities include developing and updating production schedules, opening jobs, and running the Tuesday production meetings.
