Erin Horn

Graphic Designer

Erin Horn is a kid at heart, but her 5’1” height has little to do with it. Whether she’s roaming the aisles of Hobby Lobby, Michaels or Target searching for cool stationary and wild stickers or downloading every single font off of dafont.com, Erin can find pleasure in the simplest of things. She is a pop culture fanatic and constantly inserts quotes from her favorite movies, TV shows and songs into daily conversations. Erin considers ketchup, ice cream and Diet Coke to be staple food groups that take precedence at the top of her food pyramid (obviously not together). She likes to keep things fun and lighthearted, but she also knows when it’s time to get down to business.

Erin is the Creative/Design Coordinator for the Trulaske College of Business Study Abroad Marketing Team and works to promote the college’s study abroad programs around campus. As one of the perks of her position, Erin had the opportunity to travel around Europe the past two summers in order to visit some of the programs. (Note: Despite her veteran status as a world traveler, she still gets asked if she is old enough to sit in the exit row on airplanes.)

Erin is a member of the Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis (RAMS) Steering Committee, which promotes Mizzou’s largest campus-wide philanthropy that raises money and awareness for those with Multiple Sclerosis. Her philanthropic deeds don’t stop there, though. Erin also works as a Special Needs Care Provider for Helpers Inc. in Kansas, where a teenage girl with Down syndrome has come to be one of her best friends. Outside of her time spent as Graphic Designer for team Aquila, she also delights in the art of photography, a passion she learned from and now shares with her dad.

Erin possesses the many qualities of a mature professional combined with the spontaneity and excitement of a child.
