Chris Beesley

Researcher

Chris Beesley is a wearer of many hats. He may have other talents but his 250-piece hat collection is downright impressive. His collection includes many caps featuring the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. This hometown sports fanatic got hands-on with his obsession as an intern for the Dallas Cowboys Internet department during the summer of 2010. While on the job, Chris traveled with the team to training camp in San Antonio, where he interviewed and wrote feature articles about many of the players. This past summer, he showcased his talents as a copywriter and creative while working on The Marketing Arm’s AT&T account in Dallas. His résumé may be impressive, but Chris is not your average suit. Being called sarcastic is a compliment, and the one time he tried to be serious… well, it didn’t go so well.

When he’s not cracking jokes, wearing cut-off T-shirts around campus or planning his upcoming full-page spread in the provocative “Men of Maven” calendar, you can usually find Chris tucked away quietly in bed. Chris can’t make it through a day without an afternoon siesta — a point of contention among his sleep-deprived teammates. Also a candy junkie, Chris was once (perhaps unwisely) trusted to work the concessions counter of a movie theater. The authorities still can’t determine if Chris was gorging on sweets or “accidentally” fell asleep on the job, but one thing is known: 400 extra gallons of popcorn were “mistakenly” popped one week. The result: a truck full of popcorn and a YouTube video titled “Popcorn Bath”. Never fear, potential employers, despite Chris’ penchant for trouble, his record is clean, criminal free and completely hire-able for a phenomenal future in advertising.
