Kat Bear

When you’re working on a Strategic Communication degree with a dual minor in Business and Textile and Apparel Management, you need to be focused. That’s why Kat always carries her lifeblood with her, a strong cup of coffee (no cream, no sugar). While she’s always been interested in advertising, Kat truly fell in love with the business this past summer as an account service intern at Rivet Global’s St. Louis branch. She’s also had experience as a writing intern at the University of Missouri News Bureau, a public relations intern with AMP Creative Company in St. Louis, and was on Rocket Science Advertising’s research team. Kat had the experience of a lifetime this past winter when she traveled with a group of MU students to the small village of Harmons, Jamaica, where they had the opportunity to spend time with the locals and help construct two houses.
