Melanie Buford

Fueled by the caffeine of diet Dr. Pepper, Melanie Buford is constantly striving for success. She has landed internships with public relations agencies Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., and Morningstar Communications. Melanie has also interned with the marketing groups for UMB Financial Corporation and Socket. She lives for college football, and falls into mild depression when the bowl season ends. Melanie cherishes her family, and can always rely on a pair of melodramatic nieces to put her in a good mood. A proud member of Alpha Chi Omega, Melanie served as Vice President of Fraternity Relations and is a member of Ad Club. But despite her other commitments, Melanie always finds the time to give back to the community. Over the last three years, Melanie has spent countless hours volunteering at various organizations, including The Shelter, the Central Missouri Food Bank, and the Central Missouri Humane Society. All of which is, of course, fueled by the requisite number of diet Dr. Pepper cans.
