English Foster

English Foster loves Mizzou, and is passionate about encouraging high school students to choose the black and gold. She is currently a Journalism School Ambassador, and was previously a member of the Admissions Office’s Outreach Student Recruitment Team. When asked about her name, English replies “Like the subject.” But, unlike her name, this true Tiger is working toward a career in account management; English participated in the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (4As) 2009 Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP) this past summer. Helzberg Diamonds, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, and Build-A-Bear-Workshop were just a few of the clients she worked with. English makes a conscious effort to stay away from birds and parking garages, but nothing can keep this classy and fashion conscious Oklahoman from defying stereotypes about her home state. And while Mizzou may be the number one thing in her life, salty snacks are a close second.
