Mojo Ad Says Hello to Spring 2008 Staff

Columbia, Mo. – (Jan. 27, 2008) As Mojo Ad said goodbye to its graduating staff members, the agency also welcomed its newest members at the agency’s Hello & Goodbye Party, held November 30, 2007, at the Top of the Tiger Hotel.

Mojo Ad’s new spring 2008 student staff members include: PR account executive: Ryan Meyer; account planner: Laura Kristmann; media planner: Brandon Byrd; researchers: Daniel Buoniconti and Laura Condella; art directors: Heather Bashaw, Haley Beaty, and Brie Romere; webmaster: Laura Chesser; copywriters: Joe DeSalvo and Scott Parsons; copy editor: Alison Staples; assistant manager of operations: Ashley Thurmon; and traffic manager: Audra Williams.

Mojo Ad is the first student-staffed, professional-services advertising agency, specializing in the youth and young adult market (YAYA). Since its launch in 2005, Mojo Ad has worked with regional and national clients including Best Buy, Vox Magazine, Albert Honda, the Television Bureau of Advertising and Hallmark Cards. After first establishing a relationship with Hallmark Cards in spring 2007, Hallmark asked Mojo Ad to continue working for them this past fall. Students developed comprehensive communication campaigns to reach recently married YAYA women and presented them at Hallmark’s headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.

To lead the agency in spring 2008, all four members of Mojo Ad’s management staff will return: Larry Powell, agency director and creative director; Barbara Ifshin, director of account management and planning; Stephanie Padgett, director of media and research; and Nell Lukosavich, manager of operations.

Members of the agency’s current student staff who will also be returning this spring are: account executives: Hannah Davis, Katiy Heath, and Alison Mueller; public relations account executives: Wendy Nakajima and Jessica Witte; account planners: Eve Silver and Caitlin Ammann; media planners: Julie Dykstra and Emily Ann Taylor; researcher: Zach Burrus; copywriter: Jonathan Vigliaturo; and copy editors: Jess Estill and Scott Radloff.

Mojo Ad’s student staff will soon be busy putting their YAYA minds to work once again for the spring 2008 clients, Long John Silver’s and Television Bureau of Advertising.
