If anyone bleeds black it gold, it’s Scott. He represents the Mizzou brand whenever possible, serving as a campus tour guide for the Office of Visitor Relations and giving tours of the journalism school as a J-school ambassador. Scott’s number one priority is to stay on top of the ever-evolving Mizzou brand and YAYAs. As a copy editor, Scott has earned himself the reputation of being the so-called grammar police, frisking every written word that comes across the table. This summer, he worked on the ground level for Southwest Airlines on the advertising team within their marketing department, where he conducted market segmentation research, worked on emerging media initiatives, product placement opportunities and reviewed agency concepts. Scott wants to go into brand management for a major television network upon graduation.
