Brent "Edgar Brenter Group" Davidson
Copywriter

According to Brent, there is nothing more satisfying than doing good ads. Then after you create those ads, treating yourself to a #14 at Jimmy Johns. Brent is driven to always do "man I wish I’d done that" advertising, and he borrows the philosophy of David Ogilvy - "good writing is slavery." His hard work got him an internship last summer as a copywriter for Hill, Holliday in Boston, MA. He credits himself on the ability to take criticism well. The thick skin comes from years of doing the most hated job in sports-refereeing basketball. He is currently a Teaching Assistant for Strategic Writing 2 under the guidance of Mizzou ad favorite Professor Steve Kopcha. When Brent’s not getting his ad on, he’s hooking largemouth bass, hunting the elusive whitetail, playing guitar, or Mario Karting with his roomies. When he graduates in the winter of 2005 he plans on scouring the earth for an ad job as an advertising Copywriter.
