Taylor Chatterton
The sometimes-timid Taylor is Maven’s official bookworm. A qualified copy editor with an outstanding work ethic, she’s waitressed since age 15 without so much as correcting a single customer on a mispronounced menu item or improperly calculated tip. Now with the chance to lay down AP Style law, Taylor is eager to spell-check her way through the semester as a part of MOJO Ad.
This classic explorer’s travels have taken her to the distant lands of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Spain and Puerto Rico. Although Taylor’s globetrotting days are on hiatus, as long as there are Converse sneakers on her feet and a Coke in her hand, she will embark on any adventure that comes her way — even if it’s just across town.
While she might not look it, Taylor is a sports fanatic. This avid Chicago Cubs fan has seen more baseball games at Wrigley Field than she can count. And as anyone could imagine, one of her sports dreams was realized when she met John Anderson of ESPN’s SportsCenter at the Journalism School’s centennial celebration in 2008.
Fortunately, meeting a celebrity during her first semester at Mizzou wasn’t the high point of Taylor’s college career. She has gone on to do great work at McKenzie Wagner, Inc., a full-service agency in Champaign, Ill., as a Media Assistant at AdKarma and member of the Mizzou Student Foundation’s Public Relations Committee.
