Lyndsey Slawkowski
As a psychology major, Lyndsey knows a lot about addictions—especially her own. Lyndsey is 100% addicted to Diet Coke. A “good day” means keeping it to fewer than three cans. Sometimes she will even make a special trip to McDonald’s just for a large Diet Coke because she swears they have the very best. Talk about a brand supporter!
Lyndsey is a very loyal person: loyal to her brands, to her family and most importantly to her team at MOJO Ad! Hopefully, when you ask her what her team name is she’ll say Aquila and not the Chicago Bears. Though, don’t get your hopes up too high. Lyndsey is a die-hard Bears fan. Game day at Soldier Field is her absolute favorite place in the world, and her dream job would be to work for the team in either media or public relations.
To prepare for her dream job, Lyndsey worked this past summer as the Promotions and Marketing Events Intern at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. At the aquarium she had the chance to act as the Promotions Liaison for “A Night of Giants and Jellies,” a concert hosted by the aquarium headlining the band They Might Be Giants. She is currently working on campus in the Office of New Student Programs and worked as a Mizzou Summer Welcome Leader last summer. And as if there weren’t enough on her plate, she is also on the Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis (RAMS) Steering Committee and was on the Relations Committee last year working with social media and website material.
Lyndsey is a fun and personable young woman who is sure to be your best friend as long as you bring her—a Diet Coke.
