David Law
For David, intensity is the name of the game. If he’s involved in something, he’s putting 100 percent into it, if not more. Whether it’s running routes as a receiver and cornerback for his intramural football team or working at the Central Missouri Food Bank and Coyote Hill Christian Children’s Home through his fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi, David leaves it all on the field.
And when David’s not putting his skills to work on the gridiron, he’s filming others doing it. He works at the video operations office of the Mizzou athletic department where he not only films football practices, but basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer and softball games, too.
Summer is another opportunity for David to cram in more activities, such as working with high profile clients like Sen. Joe Lieberman and the Consumer Electronics Association while serving as an intern at the Pinkston Group in Washington, D.C.; or climbing to the top of France’s Eiffel Tower, hiking the Swiss Alps or SCUBA diving through ship wreckage in the Caribbean.
Although David lists his hometown as Cape Girardeau, Missouri, he was actually born in Morgantown, West Virginia, explaining his allegiance to the WVU Mountaineers as well as his mountain man swagger.
Being a huge fan of both Mad Men and Community, it seems only natural that David is a member of AAF Mizzou, working for their in-house ad agency for the past two semesters. And as if his Don Draper fixation was still left unsatisfied, he also serves as PR director for Rooted, a campus Christian organization.
