Branding Yourself

Come spend an hour with Mizzou alum Ross Snodgrass, a former Disney creative force and current creative director at the Integer Group in Denver. Learn tips and tricks on how to brand yourself and separate your portfolio and resume from the lackluster pdfs that flood recruiter mailboxes. Ross’s frank and impassioned delivery will make this one of the most valuable hours you’ll spend all semester.

Want to make your resume the best it can be? Let industry professionals provide you with the tips and tricks you’ll need to land that interview. Afterward, you can sit down for a special one-on-one review of your resume. Arrive early. Sign-ups for reviews begin at 5:30 pm.

Prof. Stephanie Padgett, a Strat Comm faculty member with 20+ years in advertising and sales, leads the discussion on how to effectively network and use readily available resources to leverage both who and what you know.

Portfolio Review

Any creative will tell you that you can’t get far in the ad game without a great portfolio. Creative directors will be on hand for 20-minute reviews of your portfolio’s contents. Keep and eye out for an email with information on how to register for this beneficial review. - Registration is required and limited spots are available.
