Blair McNamee

Art Director

As #Sharp’s art director, it’s fair to assume Blair is pretty handy with a paint brush, but she went above and beyond during her internship with College Works Painting in St. Louis, Missouri, leading a team of 20 to become a house painting force.

But painting isn’t Blair’s only passion. A forward for the Mizzou Club Soccer team (that came in third in the nation last year), she’s just as comfortable on a soccer pitch as she is giving a pitch in the conference room. She even melded the two while working for SoccerPro in Columbia, shaping the business’ female product line by designing layouts, determining colors and typefaces, organizing photo shoots and even producing interactive video promotions, helping to grow the site into the second largest soccer retailer in the country.

Stepping up her design skills, Blair spent the summer in New York City, interning with Glamour magazine as a designer. She worked on both the print and tablet editions as well as their special “bookazine” project.

Though describing it as one of the most intense and challenging summers of her life, it can’t compare to her main ambition in life: To win the McDonald’s Monopoly game. In fact, it’s a good thing Monopoly season and Discovery’s Shark Week don’t overlap, or we might never see Blair at all.
